Chapter 6

Everyone at Cloud Caste was startled by the news everyone had questions but for some there were few answers.

" We should fight them with our greatest army." Irin screamed out

" No, that won't work these minions are too powerful." Chalai replied

" Then what are we to do?" Michael shouted out

" Stay inside it's the only thing we can do." Chalai replied

The noise got louder and louder.

The three boys drifted out of the crowd and began to talk.

" Now I can't go see, Lily, I sent her that letter I hope she understands."

" Oh please Mike, you just met her next you'll be outside her window singing a song to her." Irin said rolling his eyes

" My, that's a great idea I'm not scared of any minions I'll sing a song and she'll fall in love with me." Moon said dreamily

" Has he lost it?" Jimmy whispered to Irin

" Think so." Irin replied

" Hey about the other day I didn't mean to you know..." Jimmy started

" That's okay, maybe I flew off the handle just a little bit too, friends?" Irin asked

" Friends." Jimmy replied

" You guys, who am I kidding I can't sing a song to her I'll look like a fool." Michael said

" Bingo." Irin said

" But I've got to see her and yall are coming." Michael commanded

" What?" Irin said angrily

" I told her that yall was coming so it wouldn't seem like a date." Michael said grinning

" Mike let me sing you a little song about reality okay

You think you can just make someone love you

You think that's what people do

But it's not so here's lesson two

If she turns you down your not her love

You can not force her do not push or shove

You are more different then rain and snow.

She is free, you have a deed you have to follow

If you know what I mean

So unless she is a princess or a queen

You shall not be." Irin sang

" So what your saying is people, can't tell someone they have to love them?" Michael asked

" No and yes that's exactly right. What you have to do is play it off as just friends and nothing else and when the time is right you'll save her from herself you'll realize yall was meant to be." Irin said sarcastically

" How do you know so much about this?" Michael asked

" Well I'm in that kind of up and down relationship. This girl I see the world in her and me she sees the same but I'm a warrior and she's a witch. And they are meant to be killed. We're apart of two different worlds and it's keeping us apart." Irin said sadly

" Is that why you are always so angry?" Michael asked seriously

" I, I know it's not I just leave me alone." Irin said bewildered walking away

Meanwhile.......

" I can't go to class, I'm so upset I want to see Michael." Lily whined as they headed down the corridor to their first class

" Oh I'm sure he'll understand besides your just friends right?" Elle asked

" I guess but..." Lily started

" Well then there's always another time." Elle said comfortingly

" Eating sure made, her, feel better." Song whispered to Lily they both laughed

When they all settled into their seats right beside each other, the Professor walked in. He was tall and quite handsome which made some of the girls giggle. His ears were pointed he had black hair and big blue eyes.

" Hello class my name is Professor Dirorius. Now that I've introduced myself will you all please do the same starting from the front."

" My name is Tona I'm from Digita"

" My name is Isis I'm from Sandras

" My name is Audra I'm from Timix"

" My name is Ariel I'm from Ceratonia."

" My name is Peltra from Normes"

" My name is Rose I'm from Elps"

" My name's Song from Radione"

" My name is Florale I'm from Majesta"

" My name is Princess Elle from Selphara"

" Hello everyone my name is Lily."

" All beautiful names and many people from many places afar." Professor Dirorius said

He walked toward Lily hands behind his back.

" Today we're going to talk about spells and I'm going to teach you a few. Okay I want you all to think of something good a memory anything and chant ' Helionus Spiris'

Lily tried to think of a good memory but she couldn't remember a thing she was clueless. But as she chanted her spirit who was lost came back to her and she could remember a beautiful song a woman was singing to her. She began to glow and golden wings appeared on her back.

" Good job Lily, now class as you get more educated in magic the spell for finding your wings will change but we'll talk about that some other time. Anyway, you girls were sent here for a reason either to make a great Queen to your kingdom or to protect your realm. But firstly you need to protect yourself." Professor Dirorius said walking to the front of the room

" How are we supposed to do that?" Elle asked aloud

" Well, I'll explain, but first everyone go and find your complete opposite." Professor Dirorius said

Lily knew her complete opposite was Ariel because her power was fire and Ariel's power was water.

" The two greatest opposites are Ariel and Lily because water and fire are very unpredictable. Water may put out fire, Fire, may dry out water." Professor Dirorius said

Ariel and Lily looked at each other and they gave each other a glare.

" Now you two think of a spell and fight with only these swords I'm giving you but don't stab each other." Professor Dirorius said firmly

Fire Tycoon Lily thought and slashed swords with Ariel. Then she remembered a shielding spell and chanted it slowly, Ole Esperiomes . She appeared behind Ariel and then Ariel came at her but Lily was already on the other side.

" How are you doing this we haven't learned that yet?" Ariel asked angrily

" It just comes to me naturally." Lily replied with a grin

Meanwhile........

" Vertego dear, my guards will find Emeral before she gets hurt I promise you that." Queen Aquan said confidently

" We told her not to go. She just doesn't listen." Queen Vertego said crying

" It'll be alright, dearest." King Ellion said kindly

" No, it won't Ellion she could be dead by now or washed ashore on a barbaric island we've never been to the outside world and neither has she she'll be confused." Vertego said sadly

" To make matters worse Peron is on the prowl I think that monster got loose again." the sea crier said

" What! Send out all of the armies to patrol the sea now!!!" King Neptusus demanded

" I never knew this day would come so soon." Queen Aquan said with a angry snarl

Meanwhile.......

Emeral lye ashore in a happy colorful forest wet and confused.

" Where am I?" she said aloud

" My dear your in Paldenia, hurry, quick come inside." a pixie said leading her inside a tree

" What's happening I sense the sea is angry?" Emeral asked the pixie

" Peron is out of his castle, his monster got loose. Even some of his monsters are around here destroying everything in its path. But don't worry dear we'll be safe inside this tree." the pixie said

" A tree? I read about those in books are they like houses?" Emeral asked

" What do you mean?" the pixie asked confused

" I've lived inside the castle's walls all of my life I've never seen outside.

What wonders were my parents trying to hide?

What is the sky and why is it blue?

Why does the world seem so brand new?

Teach me about this world

Teach me I have a mind to fill

I want to feel the ground under my feet

I want to feel complete

I want to imagine I was apart of this world

I want to be an ordinary girl

I want to be able to fall and say it hurts

I want to invent something and say it works

But I've never been part of this world

I'm not an ordinary girl

Why can't they see

Part of this world

" Are you Princess Emeral?" the pixie asked

" ‘Fraid so." Emeral replied sadly

" Everyone she's here, the oracle came true!" the pixie screamed happily

" What oracle?" Emeral asked confused

" Well it says a girl of darkish hair and dark green eyes. A girl of song and play would come so wise. And rescue us from Peron." the pixie said

" I've just fought Peron I'm so weak maybe it's somebody else." Emeral said standing

" I know your story Princess Emeral. You ran away from home worried about your friend and fought Peron and failed only because you didn't believe. You let your eyes deceive you and you let your heart go by. Halon was not a monster he was right there in your heart and if you want to save him from his death you have to listen. I will guide you but you have to help us in return." the pixie said sadly

" What is your name?" Princess Emeral asked

" Melody." the pixie said

" Melody, I will help you and your friends if you teach me about your world." Emeral said with a big smile

All the pixies began to sing and dance happy that Emeral would help them.

Meanwhile.......

" This is a perfect day to scare some weakling pixies." Tera said laughing as she sat in her room

" But thanks to that Princess Emeral now we can go to Mount Dark to see that hideous monster. We'll have something for him in return." Freeza said with an evil smile

That night the witches flew to Paldenia and set up camp and waited till the morning.

" Hey I hear singing is that you Tera?" Freeza asked angrily

" No it's coming from the woods." Tera replied with a hiss

" It sounds happy and we hate happiness don't we girls?" Rainy asked leading the girls into the woods

They looked around and saw no one or nothing but trees.

" Just in case these trees are singing, lets freeze em'." Freeza said waving her hands and watched satisfied as the trees started to freeze

Then out of no where a wave of water came toward them.

" Leave the forest!!!" the person said

" Oh, look, here girls! Here's our hero Princess Emeral." Rainy said with a smirk

" What do you mean, hero?" Emeral asked

" You set that monster up there free and now Peron will settle with anyone who can get him back for him and he'll do anything in return." Tera said

" Anything?" Emeral asked confused

" Anything in fact if you find that monster and bring him back to us we'll do anything for you." Freeza said with a smirk

" No! He's not a monster he's my friend and I won't do this to him!" Emeral screamed jumping into the water and swimming as fast as she could

Then suddenly she stopped she knew her father would have guards out looking for her everywhere. She quickly hid in a dark cave and thought for a moment. Suddenly she heard painful moaning and walked slowly to the back of the cave.

" Hello is anybody there?" Emeral asked

" Is that you Emeral?" the voice asked

" Halon?" Emeral said happily running to the back of the cave

She could see Halon was back to his normal self and knew he was alright to hug.

" I thought I'd never see you again." Emeral exclaimed

" I'm sorry Emeral but I couldn't control myself he used my powers against me." Halon said sadly moaning painfully

" We have to get you home Halon." Emeral said sadly

" No! I'm dying and I don't have enough strength." Halon said with a sigh

" But I love you." Emeral said in a whisper

" No one can ever love a monster." Halon said firmly

" But I do and I thought you'd...." Emeral started

" I did but you’re a princess and I'm a monster, and you deserved better." Halon said taking my hand

" I don't care if you’re a monster I will never leave you again." Emeral said sadly

" Take this so you'll always remember me." Halon said handing Emeral a ring that had a blue crystal in the middle

" I have to take you back to Peron." Emeral said

" No don't I'll die either way just let me to die slowly." Halon said sadly

" Ah I remember what she said:

Spells are cast some are meant to be broken

So listen child listen to thy words that are spoken

One that has an evil spirit

Only love shall undo it " Emeral said with a smile

Emeral and Halon leaned in for a kiss and wind wrapped around them and Halon's skin, legs, face, and hands became human again they were no longer ugly.

" You did it you set me free!" Halon said happily

" But what are we gonna do now? We can't go back to the palace? Peron's minions are on the prowl and these witches are above on the beach." Emeral said

" We’ll go to Syrel it's the only place where we can start over together." Halon said comfortingly

" Let's leave now!" Emeral said happily

Meanwhile.......

It was now lunch time at Eria and the girls ate quickly and left the dinning hall.

" Where is this Gilda person?" Lily asked in a whisper

" She is supposed to be hidden behind a magic door that no one can see." Elle replied

" Oh that's gonna help us a lot." Lily said sarcastically

" I don't think we should go. We don't want to get caught." Florale whispered

" Yeah maybe Erigone is already out looking for us." Elle said with a smirk

" Hey Lil, you coming?" Song asked

" I'll be there with you guy. I just gotta tie my shoe." Lily replied

The three girls went on without Lily while she tried to figure out where the door was. Suddenly she heard a squeak and saw a blue tail sticking out of a hole.

" Oh are you alright?" Lily asked with a chuckle

Lily bent down and pulled the creature out and saw it was a little rabbit.

" I'll name you Squeakers." Lily said happily

As Lily looked up, she saw a mirror and a door on the other side. She turned around and seen a doorknob and twisted it slowly and walked in. She saw a lot of books and heard a lot of noise.

" Hello is anybody here?" Lily asked

" Oh hello my child what brings you here? Oh where's my manners my name is Gilda. Would you like a spot of tea?" the pixie asked blushing

" No thank you miss but I was wandering if you could tell me what exactly is going on out there?" Lily asked

" Your heart tells me that you want to know something else." Gilda said

" No I don't want to know anything that I can't find out eventually." Lily said quickly

" Well if your sure come sit down look into my crystal ball." Gilda said as Lily sat down

" I see a girl with a friend. She has a beautiful voice, dark hair, and dark green eyes. She is in danger. Peron is looking for her. She's coming here to seek protection." Gilda said

" Is she hurt?" Lily asked

" I'm sorry that's all I can tell you my child." Gilda said worried

Lily left with Squeakers and returned to her room.

" Where were you?" Elle asked seriously

" I was with Gilda she said Peron is looking for a girl and her friend they're in danger. And they're coming here to seek protection." Lily replied

" Did she say when?" Song asked

" No she wouldn't tell me." Lily said

" Ah who's this little guy?" Florale asked

" Oh that's Squeakers, I found him, he was stuck in a hole." Lily said laughing at the little bunny

" Hey I think I'm allergic to him." Elle said sneezing

" Oh no you’re not, I remember in third grade when we had a class pet you'd play with her all the time." Song replied

" Well, she was very stylish, and thanks to me one day she'll have her own fashion line?" Elle said shrugging

" Oh to think we could be with the guys instead of here." Lily said with a smile

" It seems to me you really like this guy." Florale said happily

" She does she was drooling all over him at the party the other day." Song said rolling her eyes

" I do like him but he's with another girl we're just friends." Lily said looking down

" Don't worry, Lil, I bet you you’re better then that girl and by the end of the semester you and this guy are gonna be an item." Elle said nicely

" You really think so?" Lily asked

" No, I know so." Elle replied with a grin

Later that night.........

Everyone was sleep with their doors and windows locked so no one can get in. Lily though was sitting out on the balcony with squeakers.

" Squeakers do you think Michael and I will ever be more than friends?" Lily asked hugging the bunny

Squeakers shook his head yes.

Then out of nowhere a bright light came toward her she ran inside and closed the door softly so not to disrupt Florale. She looked out the window to see a guy with gold hair looking at her and waving. Lily opened the door and closed it softly behind her.

" Michael is that you?" Lily whispered

" I couldn't sleep I need to apologize for not sending a note." Michael said looking down

" What about your Professor if he found out wouldn't he be mad?" Lily whispered pushing his head up softly

" Uh, um, no he wouldn't, I don't know." Michael said with a low chuckle

" And what about your girlfriend wouldn't she be...." Lily started

" Can I take you on a ride I'll explain everything?" Michael asked softly

" Okay." Lily said looking into Michael's eyes

Michael led her into his car and as they both got settled in they were both quiet for a while.

" I um like what you did to your hair." Lily said

" Yeah I just woke up and it was this color, weird huh?" Moon asked

They both laughed.

" So tell me about yourself." Lily said

" Well about this girlfriend business I'm not in a relationship with her actually she likes me I can't be with her because she's cruel just like her mother and......." Moon started

" Is her name Aris?" Lily asked

" How did you know?" Moon asked back

" Her mother's name is Queen Aquan she stole my memory from me but somehow I recently got it back. It's weird though every time I look into your eyes I see them again and again like I remember you from somewhere. Like you have another identity or something." Lily replied looking at him

" Look Lily another thing you have to know about me is my name isn't really Michael my name is actually Moon. Prince Moon to be exact, I lied about my name and switched it with Michael who is going by Moon because I ran away from my palace in Skylark ." Michael said sadly

" Another thing we have in common I guess." Lily said with a chuckle

She knew she was gonna tell her secret.

" What's that?" Moon asked

" My name isn't really Lily it's Princess Pyra actually. I was afraid to tell anyone because I didn't know what that meant here. I'm sorry." Lily said

" All this time I was wondering where you were and I'd kept telling myself you were dead and you were never coming back. And here you are we're together at last." Moon said with a gleam in his eye

" Did we know each other before I was taken to Earth?" Lily asked

" Yes we did I was supposed to be married to you it's a long story." Moon said

Lily got this scared look on her face.

" What's wrong Pyra?" Moon asked

" Peron is my Uncle if he sees me or hears me he'll come after me he'll kill me." Lily said

" No, he won't because our love will stop him and as long as I live I will never let him harm you I love you Pyra." Moon said firmly

" You can't say that yet we've met in a dream and in reality which is only a day." Lily said looking down

Everyday I used to dream of a place for you and me

Where we could be together

No parents, or bystanders, or outsiders to tear us apart

No following my father's rules

Disobeying rules out on the town

A whole new world

To make our own way

To follow our rules

To live our own life

To love who you love and to never have to say goodbye

Lily: I will never say goodbye

I will never let you

Lily returned back to her room with the most bubbly feeling of all. She was in love but she couldn't admit it.

Tomorrow Morning.....

" Every day I used to dream of a place for you and me." Lily sang happily dancing across the room

" What's going on here it's like happiness is contagious?" Elle said in her usual morning snarl

" Guys you won't believe what happened last night. Michael he came and we went for a ride in his car we talked and it was just the most wonderful time ever." Lily said in a happy whisper

" Uh how dear he doesn't he have a girlfriend?" Elle asked

" He said that wasn't his girlfriend, and that it was just a girl who liked him and he didn't like her back." Lily said defensively

" What's the matter Elle are you upset your Prince charming didn't come sweep you away?" Song asked with a smirk

" No it's just I'm a little through with relationships." Elle said sadly

" What's wrong?" Lily asked

" It's just that I found out that he had an arranged marriage with Princess Aris of Marina and that's not to be accepted." Elle said starting to cry

" That little jerk." Lily said angrily" He lied to me he never told me he was getting married"

" What?" Elle asked confused

" You don't understand Elle Prince Moon is not who you think he is. His name is really Michael. The guy I'm seeing name is Prince Moon they switched names because they knew no one has never seen Moon before. I should've known what he was saying was a lie." Lily said angrily

" You have all the right to be mad Lil but you only known each other for like two days." Song said

" No we've known each other longer then that. Listen, you guys, my name isn't Lily I am not from Earth I do have a clue to who I am. My real parents I don't know where they are but I do know they are King Dragonus and Queen Athille and my name is Princess Pyra but there's more. Me and Moon we're supposed to be arranged to marry and I can't do that because I feel we just met. And now I can't do this because he's getting married to somebody else." Lily said sadly

" Lily, you look just like Queen Athille you have her eyes." Erigone said standing in the doorway

" Erigone were you standing there the whole time?" Song asked

" Yes I'm afraid I have been and to say when I forbade anyone to go outside I'd never think you'd be the first to disobey me. Lily you don't know how much trouble you've put yourself in Peron could have seen you and recognized you and then he would have took your powers and then he would have killed you. I'm afraid now you will have to suffer the consequences. You are going home." Erigone said with a sigh

" No please Erigone the fate of the magic world lies upon me it's what Sparkas told me." Lily said screaming after Erigone

" You’re a year one fairy let alone you have just found out who you are. I will not have you dead on my account I care that you are alive and well because you are the last generations of the Flamions. Let alone you hold the key to the entire magic world you need to understand young lady that if your power gets into the wrong hands everyone will die." Erigone said firmly

" But there's another part of the Phoenix Erigone." Lily said once they were inside the office

" What?" Erigone said confused

" It still lies in the ruins of Flames kingdom. I know this because I've seen it recently and if I don't get it Peron will get to it. I know he knows it's there." Lily said

" Alright Lily I will write to Chalai the Professor at Cloud Caste and I'll tell him to send his four most skilled warriors to accompany you on this quest and when you return you are going home. And you can only pick one of your friends to accompany you as well." Erigone said looking at the cracked open door

" Did you know we were there?" Elle asked with a chuckle
